Hi there!

I was trained in multiple aspects of the fashion industry, from fashion design and product development at the bachelor’s level, to Retail and Brand Strategy at the master’s level, and finally to merchandising during my Ph.D. studies.

After earning my master’s degree, I worked in the fashion industry for several years before deciding to return to academia and pursue a career as a researcher and educator, inspired by the many teachers and scholars who encouraged me along the way.

My goal in pursuing an academic career is to contribute to positive change in the global fashion industry and society, especially by helping the industry become more sustainable through research and education. It may sound ambitious, but I hope to do my part and make a meaningful contribution.
